From one mom who has to work in her laundry room:
Whenever we'd run the washing machine I couldn't make calls because the washer was so loud. It was thumping and irritating.
So my husband put a few scraps of old carpet underneath the washer and now it is much quieter. I can actually get some work done while I'm doing laundry!
